How can I customize the generated frontmatter title for notes of a particular schema?

Im curious if there has been talk about implementing the ability to search only within a subtree? Perhaps if i have bias.recency-effect and bias.familiarity-bias, i want to search for text in the body of all notes within ‘bias’. This isn't a dendron specific question per se, but I'm not sure where else to ask - I'm trying to configure VSC such that when I'm writing a list and I hit return it automatically creates a new item in that list in the new line. I know this is possible but I'm having difficulty finding which configuration I need to set to make markdown work this way

I'm sure there are tonnes. Like I said, I'm not familiar with vscode. this type of functionality you are describing is pretty common to be included in plugins

I have Markdown All in One installed, which includes this. https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=yzhang.markdown-all-in-one I have seen other people say that it sometimes produces conflicts with other things—VS Code has so many different use cases that it's often difficult to recommend a single extension.

Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i'm developing a site built on top of a dendron note structure. because filenames will become url slugs , spaces and casing can prove a problem i.e.:

. Is there anyway to rename dendron files outside of the dendron application, but keep them linked in the vault structure?

I also couldn't figure out how to rename notes inside dendron either 😂

Hi everyone! Happy Easter! Is anyone having trouble with "Markdown Preview Enhanced" on Mac? I'm getting the "Still initializing" message even after Dendron is active. I've also tried on Linux and it work well, so I'm assuming that might be an issue just with MacOS. Anyone else?

You can simply rename files outside Dendron and call

Reload Index

afterwards. In Dendron the command is

Rename Note

. Open the command palette with

Ctrl+shift+p

and start typing to find the commands

Thanks for the fast feedback. I've tried that without much success. I've even waited like a few minutes, and only then I've triggered the preview, but I still got the same message. This is an old OSX, High Sierra, so maybe the issue is related with that. 🤷‍♂️
