Is there a way to bump up the dendron-11ty version to 1.24.4 manually on a standard VSCode install?

my question would be what version of d-11ty your using

to bump up the version manually, you can run

npm install --save @dendronhq/dendron-11ty

in your workspace root

So, my workspace doesn't have a package.json - it's all in the VSCode directory.

So, I went to the .vscode directory and found d-11ty

And bumped it to 1.25.0 - but it doesn't seem to have fixed my non-expanding mobile menu 😦

hey kevin, so I checked your repo. it looks like you're running a pretty old version of the dendron-cli. how are you deploying your site? are you using github actions or manually running the cil?

I'm using the VSCode palette action.

Are there default Vim key bindings for Dendron or do I have to define my own?

You can install the vin extension and delete the ctrl L keybinding because dendron uses it for lookup

One thing I find odd is that I have to open the dendron folder to then open the vault. Example, I create a new Dendron

/home/scott/dendron

opening that with

code .

will open and say:

This opens the

vault

and it has the Dendron functionality, like

Crtl+Shift+s

If I navigate directly to the

vault

,

/home/scott/dendron/vault

then that functionality isn't there, so is this the workflow each time I want to open Dendron I have to open a parent project to be taken to the workspace?

You need to use code to open the workspace file directly (

code dendron.code-workspace

) - I have it as a keybinding using Karabiner but I don't know if others have better workflows

I can use both the CLI and the extension

, you should get a prompt to update. we'll add a config to auto-update in future releases

you can deploy anywhere since dendron generates static site assets, we just have guides for github pages. here's a guide for publishing with amplify (it uses the previous generation publishing but should give you an idea)

. do you also use

when you publish? and what version of dendron are you running?
