hey, perhaps I am using Dendron wrong, but I have added a bunch of tags to my notes by appending e.g. [[physics.cmt.HubbardModel]] to a note (which I'm doing to link all notes that e.g. reference the Hubbard model)

but when I do a "Dendron > Build Pod" I get a bunch of errors for all my tags, "The following files had links that did not resolve."

Is there a way to resolve this without either (a) creating a bunch of empty notes for all my tags or (b) deleting all the tags from all my notes?

you're running into the expected behavior right now. this is because wiki links are converted to href links on publishing and wouldn't be able to resolve if the notes don't exist. that being said, our v2 publishing will let you publish un-resolved links. any missing link will be replaced by a 403 page instead: https://dendron.so/notes/857936de-1bd5-4666-8ea9-a218d426c7ec.html

No this is an old vault. Is there a way I could test some stuff for you? Happy to have a zoom/jitsi whatever if thats something that would help you (and me get my lovely dendron notes working :P)

Making a new vault works. So maybe I'll just make a new one and copy the old files over and see if that gets things going.

off topic but jitsi-meet is a great open source alternative for zoom, finally someone mentioning it

I offer zoom because lots of people use it and it can help us communicate in that way, but jitsi is the obvious ethical choice among software and I used it almost exclusively in the first lockdown when UK universities were exploding and had no idea how to teach online. It saved me.

This worked to solve the problem. My feeling is maybe the .vscode hidden folders that I removed were the culprit as I didn't copy them over

, be happy to take a look. those are the only files that dendron will modify between upgrades, the actual notes stay the same which is why copying your notes over can fix things
