OK. doing both (trying to publish cerbrarium locally and install a portable VSCode)

So when I publish cerebrarium locally I do have the correct behavior (img published both in the md preview and in the loaclhost website)

nnow the thing is that I need to reproduce this behavior on my side

at least now we know that it's not an external issue 😄

it's a bit late here but if you don't manage to work it out I'll see if I can clone your repository and make it work locally on my end tomorrow.

uhumm well on my side if I change your dendron.code-workspace from vault to .

oh yeah, I can't see the images in preview when I change the path to "." either

(i found that setting it to . was nice because then I can have and overview of the full dendron repo in VSCode and not only the vault folder)

if I copy my assets folder out of the vault and into the top level directory I can see it in preview

~~so if you change `"pasteImage.path": "${currentFileDir}/assets/images",` to `"pasteImage.path": "${currentFileDir}/vault/assets/images",`, you can have your workspace path set to "." and not have to move the assets directory up one level~~ scratch this. this needs some extra setting on the paste image plugin side
