Or at least that one particular schema was missing it. Looks like my others seem to have it. I wonder if I copy-pasta'd it from the docs.

Well, glad you figured it out I will keep it in mind in case anyone else mentions a similar issue

I do think it was related to the server side changes. I guess so that client/server schemas can ensure compatibility

I remember him saying that they should always be backwards compatible... but I guess without having it specified theres no way to know what version it "wants" to be

I guess that something in that same set of changes tightened up on the parsing.

@User yeah, that was one of the changes with 13.4 https://www.dendron.so/notes/9bc92432-a24c-492b-b831-4d5378c1692b.html#0134-2020-10-28 you should also see specific error messages at startup for schemas that did not parse during initialization. i'll be better about calling out these things in the discord next time

Is there a way in Dendron to make a note not editable?

Just wondering if there is a way where if I click the toggle bullet point this stays activated until I press enter twice or something similar - just wondering out of interest as sometimes I like bullet points and would save having to * each new line. thanks

could you elaborate or do a gif or your use case?

Yes sure - for example when attending a meeting, I might have Attendees: * AAA * BBB * CCC I can either type * each time to get the bullet point or highlight the text and then add bullet points but was wondering if there was a way for instance to activate the bullet point so that when I wrote "* AAA", and go to the next line I would already have the "*" ready - hopefully this makes sense. I am thinking a bit like in Word, you can click the bullet point and when you go to a new line the bullet point is there

Thanks @User that is what I was thinking. A bit like numbered lists - would be good to have a way to "activate" a numbered list so that you could continue the list on enter

This extension kinda promises list editing https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=yzhang.markdown-all-in-one#list-editing No experience with it, just googled now

Yeah, the "all in one" thing is bound to conflict with smth))

so this is not a solution but what i currently do is use the toggle bullets shortcut that comes as a bundled extension with dendron

FWIW, I use the Markdown-all-in-one and I don't think I am having problems. Then again, how would I know?

Not that I've noticed. I can type "stand^[space]" and insert my daily standup snippet
