Sounds like a cool extension idea for sure! been seeing the need for this in my own use of Dendron I recently started the beginnings of the dendron-design-system => https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/tree/master/packages/dendron-design-system And think I will have my hands full on that for the next while in terms of dev contribution but happy to pitch in to this also when I have time.

This is very interesting. I briefly skimmed through what design systems are while I was working on my personal website but it looked like overkill for a simple static site. I do however want to learn more about it. It seems like you are using storybook.js to build this. Is this a good place to start learning what design systems are all about?

storybook is probably the most popular framework of its kind to share components. its a good fit for us since we'll be building out more components in next.js/react/chakra i think the storybook quickstart is pretty good though if you haven't done much react before, i might start with the create-react-app tutorial before doing storybook

I have a very casual experience with React 🙂 just enough to whip up something I need in a personal website.

which I would have dug deeper into if I didn't find Dendron. That website I was building was eventually going to be my garden but now it's just a front page to my published vault that has an about page and one blog post 🙃

I think I've learned most about Design-Systems from using Chakra-UI at work and eventually needing to go through their source code to figure some things out and see how they do things

Just made an PR to add that svg to the design system. Was thinking about adding some questions to the RFC on next steps for design system. I was thinking about adding that Button component from the landing page, but question is what's that the design you want to go with or any plans for design specs @User ? https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/pull/625/files

for the button, are you talking about the signup button or a different button? in terms of design specs, i think it's something we'll evolve over time. we don't really have enough components to warrant a spec imo and @User can tell us if we're doing anything too far off the beaten path 😅

Sounds like a good idea to let it develop over time. When it comes to developing features it can be good to get some Design/UX expertise involved. When it comes to components maybe you can get some inspiration from some of the components mentioned here 🙂

on a related note, a press kit with logo usage/color guidelines would be useful.

Can I apply note reference to include grand children notes, or even better specify the level down the hierarchy I want the notes to be referenced to, without having to spell out all the nodes inbetween? For example, can I reference in the note, domain.parent, all notes from domain.parent.child.\* as something like ![[domain.parent.~.\*]] ? If I use ![[domain.parent.\*]], it gives
