    09/28/2022, 11:02 PM
so I don't know about the need for an alias
  • s

It's not, but that's not where Haxe is installed. Lime.exe is not found where Haxe is installed.

    able-action-74275

    it won't be

lime does not live in /haxe
  • a

    adventurous-salesclerk-9917

    09/28/2022, 11:03 PM
Why did I have a lime.exe there then
  • h

Okay, so here's a question. What does the alias script do, and can I do it manually?

    09/28/2022, 11:04 PM
    huh shouldn't it live in haxelib/lime/version/some/other/long/path ?
  • h

    hallowed-ocean-84954

    09/28/2022, 11:04 PM
    alias is a unix/linux concept
  • a

    adventurous-salesclerk-9917

    09/28/2022, 11:04 PM
It basically makes it so you can just type lime instead of haxelib run lime every time you want to test the project

where is the alias script you are talking about ? I doubt it's for windows use

    I thought it just aliased
    lime
    to
    haxelib lime
since you can call that for the same result
