Can't make align tool to work

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the align tool. I am testing zen uv on an arm. I followed the video tutorial but I am not getting the same result. When I click on align horizontally or vertically, the entire island is collapsed and aligned and not just the selection. I don't understand why it does that. I disabled sticky selection, UV sync selection. I chose selection for the transform mode. I ticked vertex by vertex. I am working with blender 4.1 and zen uv 4.4. I also tried the align tool with blender 5 and the latest update of ZenUV and I have the same problem. There is something I must have missed. Does anyone can help? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1543942020412997832/1543942020689690664/Capture_decran_2026-08-31_121007.png?ex=6a96b38e&is=6a95620e&hm=fc7f4eef679cc50c96f4eeddb3aa74ec02215be54db1858b9751774f6987b6a5& https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1543942020412997832/1543942021268381747/Capture_decran_2026-08-31_121039.png?ex=6a96b38e&is=6a95620e&hm=6883e5eb1e413de49d00113739c641dbc2f37fe2188718fb02c84e4c968f5216&

Hey. The operator in each panel works context-dependently like everything in Blender. You select vertices in the UV Editor, but call the operator in the 3D View where the entire model is selected.

Oh, right.Thank you.
I still need some help. I don't understand how to show the UV in the editor without selecting the mesh or part of it in the viewport with UV sync off. I am aware it is not a zen uv problem but I am not finding any answer elsewhere. I have to select some faces in the viewport so the matching UV appear in the editor. But the problem is that the shared vertices on the other islands are also selected even if they are not shown in the UV editor. They get aligned too.

You have two options to choose from. ### Option 1 (Easiest) 1. Turn off Sync UV Selection. 2. Open the N-panel (sidebar) in the UV Editor. 3. Select the elements you want to align. 4. Select the Vertex by Vertex mode. 5. Click Align. --- ### Option 2 1. Turn on Sync UV Selection. 2. Make sure Sticky Selection Mode (located right next to the Selection Modes: Vert, Edge, Face in the UV Editor) is set to Shared Location. 3. Select the elements you want to align. 4. Select the Vertex by Vertex mode. 5. Click Align.

Thank you so much. Option 1 works.
