Blender: 5.1 OS: Fedora 43 ZenUV: 5.3.3 I seem to have stumbled upon a bug following your emergency light tutorial with the quadrify command where is extends the seem where it shouldn't. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1488495972190519336/1488495972353966200/quadrify-bug.mkv?ex=69ccfd66&is=69cbabe6&hm=7ba384999ba92edf48626de27e2ad41e33270a92f3b914ddee17ede7e0c0cd58&
I fixed it, I missed a step in the tutorial

Hey. Maybe. But I'll explain it to you. Then you'll understand what's really going on.

Ok
Thats ok, the bug is still there
I fixed it in one area and thought they were both fixed.

In Zen UV, the definition of a selected island works on the principle of a selected element. This means you can select anything within an island. For example, a single vertex, an edge, or a polygon, and that island will be considered selected. However, it also means that if you select adjacent vertices or edges within an island, two (or more) islands will be selected. This applies especially to the 3D View. In your case, you selected an edge that touches other islands. But please note: it does not touch other islands in the UV Editor. So, execute the Quadrify command from the UV Editor.

Ok
Yup, that worked, thanks.

With the release of Blender 5.0, there have been significant changes to the selection algorithms. I’ll look into it. If possible, I’ll optimize this case. Thanks for the feedback.
