World Orient issue.

@mils , We can continue here. Could you provide a scene so that I can understand the problem better? Also, please provide the texture you are using as a checker.
m
Hey, yeah was just having dinner 🙂
Let me get a scene to you
Because this is a pre-release production asset I just cut it down to minimal objects and polygons as I don't think my boss would like me sharing our assets in their full form. I think this should work though
The information I can share that might be helpful is: If I do a fresh unwrap using Blender's native UV (Unwrap conformal) I can World Orient the UV's fine. It seems that as I progress it starts to malfunction.
This is not an isolated case. I've had other scenes in the past cause this issue also. It's been something that has happened a few times.
v
Okay. Give me some time.
m
Sure thing
I'm actually moving my PC to another room in my house so may be AFK for a few hours. WIll check in later on. THanks for looking into this for me. 😄
v
Which version of Zen UV and Blender are you using?
m
Blender 5.0.1 and ZenUV 5.2.1
v
Under the same conditions, I cannot reproduce the problem. Everything works correctly. Could you please record a short video showing how it looks on your end?
m
Yes, like I was saying it does not happen all the time. Seems to be in only certain situations. I will try reproduce it. 🙂
v
I hope you manage to do that. I would like to correct the bug if it exists. By the way, you don't need to create your own shader for testing. You can use Texture Checker. In it, you can set the density of the arrows.
m
Yeah thanks I do know about that, but I had it malfunction once in an earlier version so have been cautious of using it since.
