I'll need a new CNAME for connect-test > connect-test.egslb.client.com but a little confused about the A records ...

Wait.. I think I got it.. I just need the CNAME (I think!), I just rechecked the IPs, I thought the A records were for the existing connect service, its not, that must be the public IP for the ADNS NAT to the NetScaler's in each site.. which will respond with the connect/connect-test IP based on GSLB... if anyone can weigh in on my thinking its appreciated 🙂

You only need the CNAME to delegate the new record to the GSLB/ADNS

The only A records I have created on the NetScaler are the ones for the GSLB ADNS (in your case ns1.lb. and ns2.lb.)... because if the SOA is not found for these records, it seems to cause all sorts of issues

it's been a "learning experience" without any formal instruction for me - trial and error!
