Hey m8 0/1 management interface is set as a access port on switch on vlan 75 (NSIP is 10.129.75.211) so just set vlan75 as the native vlan on the LACP channel ?
l
Yep exactly
That should all the two management interfaces to talk again. Can you confirm before doing that, that they can ping each other?
c
yeah they can ping each other atm
l
When the source is the management IP and the destination the the second ns mgmt IP? Just checking?
If they can, the vlan config is not your issue as you'd have no coms between them at all.
c
No joy m8 i got him to set VLAN 75 (mgmt vlan) as native vlan on the LACP channel (switchport trunk native vlan 75) and added switchport trunk allowed vlan 75 to existing allowed vlans and show ha node still shows the same thing
Think i have managed to sort it. I have had to remove the TAG All option on the LACP channel LA/4 see screenshot (When i bound the LA/4 channel to the VLAN's i ticked the Tagged option which tags the specific VLAN. I think with the TAG all option set on the LACP channel it TAG's all VLAN's including the Native NSVLAN so i think i would of had to change the NSVLAN on the NS to VLAN 75 and tagged it
l
Nice work John, Sounded a little weird. Sorry, got distracted yesterday and then back into work today.
c
Weird as ....... its stopped working again i see LA/4 on interfaces where heartbeats not seen
l
Thats really odd, you have no option but to packet trace at all 3 points (Netscalers and the switch) and see what happens.
c
LA/3 has interfaces 1/5 1/6 bound and is bound to VLAN 300 with SNIP in VLAN 300 as these was access ports and only a single VLAN this isnt tagged. LA/4 has interfaces 1/1 1/2 1/3 1/4 bound and is bound to VLAN 98,99,100,110 with the corresponding SNIP bound these are all tagged. How come LA/4 is still in VLAN 1 ? is it because it is tagged ? I would of thought that it shouldnt be in there ? VLAN 1 should only have 0/1 ?
l
What switch are these plugged into John?
c
Interfaces 1/5 1/6 in LA/3 is connected DMZ switches single VLAN 300 and ports configured as access port , Interfaces 1/1 1/2 1/3 1/4 in LA/4 is connected to internal switches multiple VLANS 98,99,100,110,200 Trunk ports , 0/1 is connected to Internal switch VLAN 75 and is access port

Okay, you're still not getting H/A? Any other changes? Firmware update or anything? There was an issue with Cisco Switches and LACP a while back. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX217581/lacp-issue-with-cisco-switches-when-configured-with-a-global-dot1q-tag-native-vlan-command
