I ran into this during our vSphere 7 migration.  Had to go through this process to find orphaned tasks

Sorry if that's what you meant by "I checked for running tasks etc via get-provscheme but nothing seems to be in progress"

Thanks, Jon. Ive told the customer to attempt to remove using the PoSH commands.. there doesnt appear to be anything orphaned from a jobs/tasks perspective, cheers

you sure there isn't some form of delegation against that catalog there? Says you don't have access to the Catalog
