I used to have one using the SDK that would alert on number of available VDA's... based on registration status... struggling to find it but when I do I'll fire it over, cheers

Why not use Director alerts? Cant you alert on available VMs below a certain threshold?

To be honest, I did see thresholds. But I didn’t get a chance to investigate it yet. But now that you mention it. I need to expand on it more. I’m not 100% what all director can do at times . Sounds silly I know :)I been spoiled by CU in the past 5 years lol

The available VMs doesnt care if the VM is in use or unregistered, it just uses the "available VMs' - i cant remember if it works off of percentage or just strict quantity. I can check how ours are setup

Ha, I had it backwards - director has failed machines alerting. The available VM alerting is an internally scripted one. I'll see if I can grab the code in the morning. It might end up being just a framework since ours pulls across multiple cvad sites
