Apparently this is expected as DTLS 1.2 isn't supported on the backend yet. EDT is documented in such a way that only DTLS 1.0 is mentioned. There is an enhancement request that can be references as NSHELP-33774. For those who can open support cases, I encourage you to pile on as needing this support in order to not be reliant upon weak ciphers to support EDT.
