quite a lot of work to troubleshoot and not always easy to mute the source. we had lots of issues on our campus wifi with dropping signal, interference, etc. one of the main problems was our legacy wifi gear, btw avoid sonicwall for wifi ;)
it did dynamic channel selection but only on boot of the APs. so when something happened in the spectrum after election of the channels it did not adjust. don't know if your gear supports this. with our new wifi hardware the issues disappeared. i guess because it constantly monitors the spectrum and adjusts the channels and power.
