Thanks guys, I would have taken 12.1 too. 

Go with x.1 builds in production since they're "Stable"

.1 builds have a 5 year lifecycle instead of 3 years with .0 builds - this is not meant to convey that .1 builds are inherently more stable. Feature release vs maintenance release phases still apply regardless of major revision, detailed info is available at <https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX241500>

All that said, 12.1 latest is generally the sweet spot right now since it's got the most runway and has been in maintenance phase for a while now.

Ditto.  13 only for very narrow cases that need a feature not in 12.1.
