with std edition platform license you get 500 universal licenses , enterprise gives you a 1000 universal licenses and platinum is unlimited

oh your talking about going over the technical limit tbh never tried it i norm hard code it on the NS GW Vserver with maximum users/ Netscaler global settings /change Authentication AAA settings/max number of users to match the number of concurrent universal licenses i got. i presume there is no technical limitation but you would be breaching licensing terms

The user limit is hardcoded as far as i know, I believe it's set at the gw global level which overrides vserver settings but I haven't touched anything outside of platinum licensing for a while.

That’s correct, either upgrade ADC to adv/prm or get additional universal licenses.
