And yeah, it does not seem to affect anything. CPU/Memory/Throughput is perfectly normal.

DTLS will create a seperate port for each client connected if you have enabled realtime audio. You'll have more connections.
e
Makes sense. I am still not convinced though. Look at this. 500'ish connected gateway users.
l
lol, okay. Thats pretty high.
e
Extremely steady too. I have opened a support ticket with Citrix but would be interesting if someone else on here would check their VPX's running the same version and DTLS.

@Ray Davis may be able to give a comparison.

I expect the traffic to go up, but not this much. Being you have a case, would you mind letting me know what they say?
e
Thanks! I will update you.

Thanks
j
are you sering disconnection as well ? I also enabled UDP and updated to 12.1.55.X recently and I've been having disconnection ever since
e
We have not had that issue.
r
I am not seeing that either. But I will continue look for this.
j
yeah I think my case is isolated, we suspect network issue in the backend infra
r
I am seeing UPD all together doesn't help as much as I thought. Especially over high latency networks. Which isn't something we can control. Another trick on UDP audio is to make sure the CPU has a high priority over citrix audio service

Have not received anything from Citrix yet, but I rebooted the instances last night (unrelated) and I am seeing normal numbers now.
