I haven’t seen any issues with STA servers showing down. I would check your SNIPs to make sure you have one on the same network as your NSIP. Not positive that this is required for this, but have seen similar issues when this is missing before.

Please check if your DNS Servers on your NetScaler are online after the upgrade. Also unbind and rebind your STA Servers

We are using direct Ip. So it should not be DNS issue.... And we already tried unbind and rbind

Are they the same version? If it is HA Sync Disabled because of version mismatch, this is expected until the secondary is upgraded.

The technical reason STA is down on secondary netscaler post upgrade would be the fact that your sync is auto disabled between different versions. The sync is responsible for updating status of resources (not only STA but also SG's etc.) on the secondary netscaler since it doesn't have a SNIP when it's secondary and is not polling the backend resources, only the primary does this since it's the owner of the SNIP. This would be different in a INC setup. So yes, perfectly normal.

What about virtual servers reported as „down” - is it the same situation?

Yes, same situation, only VIPS that do not have monitoring enabled on their SG or have some special setup will show up, all the rest will normally show "down" in that situation

@Arthur @Joel Donaldson @Lucas Van den Broeck we noticed sta is up post failover secondary as primary.... @Arthur vip were showing online post upgrade without any issues. Only sta were showing down... Thanks for your help all :)
