its a bug really. yea. common. I can't remember what builds that was in and/or when fixed. got to a point, i ignored those and cleared them
c
Thanks for reply i got the exact same sdx/vpx firmware build 12.1.56.22 in a different datacenter which uses an on prem NMAS with the exact same alert configuration and its fine i dont get the issue so dont think its firmware related. I only see it in one datacenter the only difference is it uses the citrix cloud adm service with the agent installed within the virtualisation platform in that datacenter
o
yea, not sure what the common denominator is. ADM service didn't matter as I see it with on-prem ADM as well
c
yeh its proper weird i have had to disable the alerting for now
o
yep. was very annoying to say the least. I know when I was researching it, I'm pretty sure I got something from somebody on the product side saying it was a bug or something as it was it actually reapplying that policy over and over and triggering the alert. I forget the exact builds I was seeing it on
e
We have the same issue with ADM Service.
c
thanks ill raise a case with citrix you would expect the adm service / agent to on latest version and constantly updated. I dont see it with same sdx/vpx firmware that uses a on prem nmas so got to be adm service/agent related

From what I could work out, if NMAS lost connectivity to a ADC or ADC pair,it would push the appflow parameters to every netscaler for every VIP. We had 18 NS HA pairs, each with 6 VIPS so we used to get flooded with alerts, def seems to improved with the latest firmware. The change itself was innocuous - just reapplying the appflow parameters per VIP
