Are you using a custom theme from the old days? Have you tried it in incognito mode?
j
We are using the rfwebui @Mads Petersen. Does that make a difference, usually upgraded fine, it’s not legacy as we only started using netscaler in past 2 years? just tried incognito mode (and a few different browsers) no luck. As a said MPX looks to be up but browser not connecting and upgrade task from ADM says forcefailover -f failed due to timeout.

If its really broken just break H/A , reset your secondary and re-add it. Flip over, repeat with the primary if necessary. Should be quite quick.

This turns out to be an issue with the httpd.conf file. In a previous support call, Citrix actually made a change to this file on our behalf. Any customisation in this file breaks all future firmware upgrades.

Thanks for sharing

Oh yeah, should maybe have said. Delete httpd.conf from etc and nsconfig directories and reboot immediately. The only complication from our side is even with HAsync disabled, the customised httpd.conf keeps syncing back within 30secs from the primary. 😬

Import a vpx with the same firmware version and replace it with stock.
j
if I import the stock httpd.conf from a VPX onto the secondary then the primary won’t overwrite again? Is it only replacing it because it’s deleted? Sorry if that’s obvious and im being slow.
l
Replace it on the secondary and then force a failover. Secondary becomes primary and syncs the file over.

Ah...yes. Makes perfect sense. Thank you.

No worries. Any time.
