do you have a syslog policy/server configured and binded the syslog policy globally ?
c
Not that I am aware of.. Is there a way to check it?
c
System > Auditing > syslog
c
No policies and no servers are configured. 😟
n
I know it doesn't help you now but we have ADM deployed and created some custom email alerts for when config is changed and saved.
c
ok so your not sending your logs to a syslog server .... you could have a look in the Auditing menu u will see recent audit messages and syslog messages have a look in there
yeh same Neal i use ADM and get notified of config changes
c
I have it in roadmap to deploy MAS (AKA ADM)
c
admin actions should be logged by default but the default rotation may have overwritten what's interesting by now since logs weren't configured to go anywhere off-box. you want to look for CMD_EXECUTED entries, as mentioned above ADM is an easy and free way to parse this stuff out without much setup.
d
Check the running configuration, you should see the recently changes
c
Unfortunately, I dont see that LDAP change in the running configuration list..
