13.0 GUI says that basic policies are gone in 13.1. IIRC someone in this channel said (not long ago) they will remain in 13.1

It will not be removed in 13.1 as of now, because some of the other citrix clients (sso, secure hub and such) have issues with advanced policies

Still definitely suggest getting ahead of that curve where possible, I've seen bug reports relating to classic policy engine

Yes, if you're a pure citrix workspace/browser environment, get them changed to advanced policies, it's super easy.

I disagree with it being super easy when you have a bunch of rules to update and they are interconnected and you worry about what you are about to screw up when you change things. Maybe I'm missing something. I went the route of new ADCs with only Advanced Policies and migrating services over.

Did you use the tool they made? It's gotten very good, i've only seen it fail on some of my more complex stuff

I did a while back, but not recently. It had some issue that I can't remember exactly what it was. I don't have a test environment that matches prod close enough to rely on it when it couldn't do my test environment that I have. This is a bit more work on my part, but the risk is lower for me.

I assume it will convert the expressions, but you still need to build the Advanced polies and bing them correct?
