looks like a common issue in latest builds https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/412848-ldap-not-working/
d
I see it on nearly every release from the last months of 12.1 and 13. it's either the "JSON error in line 203" or the error you described.
c
pretty annoying would of thought Citrix would of fixed it by now

I have the same exact issue. So, we just have to enter the Admin Bind DN and pwd, and then continue without testing the network connectivity?

If LDAPs is load balanced you can verify connectivity with the service group Monitor. Thats my workaround

Thank you. We only have one LDAP server. I still see the red icon at LDAP status. But I can login to citrix gateway with AD user id. No issues there.

Does this bug also impact RADIUS monitoring? Anyone figured out what characters might be causing this? I saw mention in the article of hyphens in the username, but I can confirm this is not the problem. We have some environments where the sldap monitoring works post upgrade to 12.1 build 62.23 and others that are broken. All of them have a hyphen in the service account name. I think it might be the @ symbol in the password.
Found that someone else posted about this above. Apparently if you have a filter on your ldap monitor, it works. I just confirmed that the adc we upgraded that didnt have trouble had the filter. And I added the filter to one that was not working and now it is!

It looks like citrix fixed it on updated 12.1 62.25 version. I've upgraded Netscaler from 11.1 to 12.1 today. On Ldap page, it shows everything is passed and a green status icon as well. But on 13.1 X version which I've upgraded 15 days ago, it still shows arguments failed input validation error.
