are you sure there isn't an extra older component on those clients? This is what you'd get if you still have an old online plugin installed aswell.

100% new imaged computer with 1912 WSA
This happens sometimes when trying to launch from Chrome
installing with these tags...
/forceinstall /AutoUpdateCheck=disabled /silent /includeSSON /enabletracing=false /enableCEIP=false /allowsavepwd=S StartMenuDir=\LOBApps DESKTOPDIR=\LOBApps RemoveAppsOnLogoff=true RemoveAppsOnExit=true
i know i don't need forceinstall, but we use the same choco package for older clients and new builds, so that's why it's in there
r
Just curious how are you installing it? All CLI correct?
r
chocolatey, using those tags above
so yeah, CLI through choco
s
I fix this in the past, install those feature (in the end i just installed the WSA) from a location where the user has execution permission.. this trigger the same behaviour, but the user can run. I assum, this is triggered when user launch an citrix application managed on the othersite which require the onlineplugin. (Proberly old farm or so) It might fix only in my case.
r
can you set install directory in the WSA cli?

I have just had this error at a customer
Receiver upgraded from 4.x to 1912
👍 1
According to the customer, the user's are probably accessing some kind of legacy Citrix setup, managed by another company
r
So, I don't see any way to set the EXTRACT directory in the installer
In my setup, this is not accessing legacy anything. It's going to our Internal NetScaler/SF setup.... and again, never see this error launching directly from WSA.. just from Chrome....

Whats happen with IE or Edge?
r
IE is fine
Edgium is broken.. Old Edge, i'm not sure.
When I get another one of these broken, I can test
r
Stupid question. Have u taken the chocolately part out and do old fashion cli. Shouldn't make a difference but I'm curious.
k
My customer is seeing this with Chrome
r
A long time ago I had this but it was due to app flow on the Netscaler. I know it sounds dumb as it did then. I turned it off and upgraded to 12.1 . I was on 11.1 when I seen this.
r
i'm pretty sure I have installed manually with CLI and still see it in Chrome. Would have to confirm... @Kasper Johansen You know why yet?
r
r
@Ray Davis Sure, that's exactly how you fix it. 😄 I don't want it to happen in the first place! 🙂
r
Yea I get. Sorry man. Just figured I this it your way.
