Seems that the Upgrade failed some SQL on the Monitoring Database, Site itself is working After the Upgrade?
s
Yes everything is working as it should, i can connect open studio etc. Is it possible to recreate monitoring db?
m
Should be possible with the same commands used to change the monitoring database. But I never tried that myself.
s
Any other idea what could be the issue? Also ran test site which was successfull

What is your SQL Server Version? And what OS is Director running at?
s
Server 2019 + SQL Express 2017 + LocalDB 2017
Strange if i run http://<ddc-fqdn>/Citrix/Monitor/OData/v3/Data/Sessions() in the browser I get the following error The server encountered an error processing the request. See server logs for more details If i run the same with the following url http://<ddc-fqdn>/Citrix/Monitor/OData/v4/Data/Sessions() i get results
what is the difference between v3 and v4
v3 is broken and i see it is being used in director and v4 is working, maybe a configuration did not update correctly, should it use V4?
m
Can you try running a standalone director to check if Director itself or the database is the problem? Did you use the metainstaller or msi to install director when you tried to reinstall?
s
first install meta install, second try was msi with repair, third was upgrade switch
Do you have a 2003 and can you enable director logging to see which odata url is being called V3 or V4?
New machine only with director gives me same ODATA V3 error, while v2 and v4 work fine
The error comes from ddc
