GPOs. This thing turns off a whole loada GPOs you may need from a security perspective

Gotcha. If I'm running RSOP/GPResult, will they just not show as applied?
j
I implemented it but reinstated the GPOs in my test environment and it was still quicker. However - I have not done so in production
You need to look very carefully at gpresult. They may reapply over the top or may not.

Hmm, OK. I'll look into this on the side then. Will need to tread very carefully

it does more than just GPO's 🙂 It will move some AppX packages to other "phases" --> effectively moving some packages away from the logon process. I think it disables some things like BioMetrics as well

Sorry I was just trying to concentrate on the bits that people might actually care about 😉

Since we moved to 2004 W10 build and some fslogix issues over the weekend and who knows what networks may have done assuming they caused the fault login times have increased dramatically on our estate, . this sounds quite interesting I will ask our experts if it's appplicable here

A good monitoring tool will tell you exactly why you've had an uptick

yeah we have Systrack it totally breaks down post boot, also came across Load Arc by sysinternals tools though that shows services load order only still useful.
