Check your MSS/MTU for the streaming service and make sure you aren't fragmenting packets.

Check your PVS server spec, all vmware tools are installed and correct versions, no special settings on your vswitches and Offloads. Also RSS can sometimes impact performance.

+1 for storage, whenever i see high retries it's almost always storage related.

WTF! 10000 after boot? That’s crazy! for me it was almost always the network. Check the switch ports, any packet lost? Spanning tree? Port fast? Do the retries increase after reboot with the same intensity?

10000 is a lot, bear in mind you should never expect 3 figures in a working day. He states above theyre on the same vmware host. PVS is the wrong choice if that's all you have btw....

Only appears with asynchronous io on vdisk. No leee its not all, but for troubleshooting it was the easiest config to figure out until i found thats only the io feature ;) - pvs 1912 btw
