Have seen the same behavior on VMware. We created a Powershell script which is running 15 minutes after the reboot schedule: verifying the power and registration state

Specific to Nutanix
is assume you mean AHV? You could run a CDF trace to see if Studio is actually sending out the API calls to prism? If not, it might be similar to Julian’s problem above
d
Thanks guys - Kees yes AHV. And yes a CDF trace is on the list to do as well. I guess I'm looking for something that tells me what should be happening so I can compare with what is actually happening when looking at Nutanix logs and CDF log.
j
And maybe check this article: https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX214838 Should only apply if AHV is getting the API calls
d
Had the same issues on AHV. The article above and making sure you on the latest version of the MCS plugin sorted it for us.

Thanks Julian - the VMs shut down fine, so don't believe it's a timeout issue - they just don't get powered on again. Dave - I'll double-check the plugin version

Maybe this could help you.
Well nevermind, after reading through your post. This isnt what your looking for. Sorry

Peakbufferpercentsize?

No - it's only 8 Server 2019 VDAs across two clusters

Same issue with XenServer 7.1, I have a script in place to power on power off VMs and I have a lot every night. The issue is with the Controllers. The Citrix reboot schedule is not reliable.
