yep! I've got that hotfix applied

Did you apply any optimizations other than the Citrix optimizer? I would create a new image just containing windows + vda and work from there. Maybe even block GPOs
o
That's pretty much what I've got. Base windows/VDA, nothing else, no GPOs, just the "ListOfDDCs" key to get the golden image registered on the local CVAD controllers. I ran optimizations via Citrix optimizer only after I noted not being able to fully logon. I always do very basic end to end connection testing via the golden image before I start cutting clones, this is the first time i've had the "black screen of death" on Win 2022

Which protocol is it using and if UDP have you tried disabling EDT to see if it fixes the black screen?
o
Hey, Aaron! I'd tried that yesterday, but not in combination with some of the stuff I did today. I'll try it and report back
Fixed! It was two fold and both related to StoreFront/ADC. For StoreFront, I had to check the "external only" box under StoreFront , shown in the screenshot from the StoreFront > Configure Store Settings > HDX Routing
Second, following https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/tech-zone/build/tech-papers/networking-tls-best-practices.html I had set the cipher group bound to the vServers to TLS 1.3 only, adding TLS 1.2 worked.
Wasn't expecting the fix to come from SF/ADC, but that's Citrix for ya, you never know where the issue is , until you do! 😂
