Wasn't there a doc that said something about setting a Regkey to 0 from Citrix? I was a while back about something simliar.
This was what I was referencing to. This might not though. https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX270433

We actually have that set by GPP already. And I just double checked it is still applying. Good thought though.

Dang, ok man. Hopefully someone else has seen this as well.

oh, same key
The really looks like it’s expecting to see the search database there when it should be looking in C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\{UserSID}\{UserSID}.edb
maybe create a symlink and see if it works?
My thoughts are that you shouldn’t have to configure any search index roaming in UPM at all for 2019 as long as you aren’t excluding that fo9lder
I would turn off Enable Search index roaming for Outlook because I think that’s going to be what’s causing the issue, it’s going to try to split the windows edb file out like it would on 2016
this is why FSLogix removed the option to roam seach in 2019

That's a good thought too Mike. I may see about going back to standard 2019 configuration and roam the .edb file in a profile container. I don't want to introduce additional latency roaming the .edb if I don't have to. I will discuss with the team here and see what we want to do. Appreciate the thought.

Sorry Dennis to ask, But you are using Citrix UPM containers or FSlogix Profiles with the UPM outlook containers?
d
Citrix UPM
Switched over to 2019 default Search Index mounting and put the OST and Search Index location in the Citrix UPM Profile Container. Things worked for about 2 days and then Search Index is broken again. Servers have Feb 2022 patches that MS says fix these search issues as well.

Dang man. What a mess . Sorry to hear that.
2019 seems to be the devil OS.

Yeah, I have also been informed that roaming Search is broken in the same way on 2016 servers as well. Windows Search just flat sucks.
