The official error message is Photo viewer cannot open due to insufficient memory

That looks to be the same as what my customer is getting

Do some testing before, that gave me weird issues, some picture in email signature was displayed inverted

Going to drop it into a users hive first - need to get someone to report it first...

Yes on my side they were reverted too also in thumbnail view in explorer, had to revert it back

Can also confirm the registry change fixes the issue, but also ended up giving me issues such as colors inverted on pictures in Excel sheets, outlook, etc. I ended up deploying a third party picture viewer instead since the legacy photo viewer is kinda crap

@Nick Pylarinos - One of our other customers had a similar issue and it was to do with photviewier having issues opening photos taken with some mobile devices (andrioid/ios) and not handing the file metadata. They had to move to imageglass instead, cheers
