Probably a recovery partition behind your C: partition. Can you share a screenshot of Disk Management?

Or use the tool In the CTX article. There are numerous free tools that will do this. When I build servers or machines I rearrange the Patitions before I start using it in whateve Solution it’s going In.

Had this for a customer 2 weeks back, ended up doing a re-build, as the diskpart method didn't work. That being said, try the diskpart method @Ray Davis has provided, i've had it work half the time i've tried it, worth it in a coin toss! Else, you'll want to look at using a paid third party partition mgmt tool from Paragon or EaseUS

@Ray Davis, i tried "Macrium reflect" just now to extend some of my windows golden images on my lab, didn't work, however, I found a method to do it via gparted! Will create a blog on it soon
