@Jarian Gibson @Kees Baggerman What's the story on https://portal.nutanix.com/kb/16940 ? I thought PC connector wasn't required till AOS 7.5+ and the AOS 7.3.x branch would continue to support pre-v4 API requests for the Nutanix AHV Plugin for Citrix for PE? Not true? Is AOS 7.0.x is the end of the line for CVAD-PE connection hosting? KB16940 indicates AOS 7.0.x is the end of the line, but, https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Release-Notes-AOS-v7_5_1_6:AOS-deprecated-features-aos-r.html suggested Q4-2026, which aligns with AOS 7.3.x going end of maintanence (Sept 2026), which aligns with my understanding that AOS 7.3.x is the last of the mohecians for Citrix PE plugin support.

PE plugin support will follow API depreciation schedule and support lifecycle of the last release before APIs are deprecated.
That KB is strictly for connect to Citrix Cloud in PE. You can still deploy Cloud Connectors by other means.
m
What I'm getting at is the KB and the release notes are contradicting each other. Which AOS version drops legacy APIs? Or is that TBD?
j
There's separate KB for that. I’m on mobile so will have to find later.
m
I've got a unique compatibility matrix where I'm land-locked to 2203 which right now stands at CU7 due to a cost-prohibitive partner upgrade is the concern.
My customer veto'd upgrading said partner software which means the customer I support is stuck, on 2203 for the remainder of the life of EUC
j
They will have remain on supported releases that has the APIs then until they are ready to upgrade.
m
Let me know when you have a chance what the state is for last AOS version supporting the PE plugin. Signing off for the day.
j
The API deprecation has been updated on the support portal.
A notice also went out to customers.
KB-18027
āœ… 1
Last release is targeted for the Q2 2027 release and the support lifecycle for that.
KB-22545 has been published to address legacy API deprecation impact on Citrix integrations for Nutanix AHV.
