May not be supported, but it certainly works in S19.

Windows server must be in mainstream support as that's what O365 requires to be in support, including Teams. So because of O365 we have only 5 years per OS now. W19 is in its extended phase, no official support for O365 ...

Yep, it's on extended phase, which is not the same as standard support. Does not mean it won't work, just if you have issues, you're on your own.
