Patching for our Win11 multisession VDAs has broken audio to some extent. we're not able to do anything with the volume control within the session. you try to slide the slider and it keeps reverting back to the far let, basically muted
I suspect this is the culprit which came from Windows Update
d
oh my! One of my customers are experiencing the same!
I'll talk to them tomorrow. I'll keep you posted

Audio for things like Teams is fine but it does break audio for Genesys Cloud app
j
Teams is fine probably because the offloading
m
Reverting the audio driver didn't fix the issue but removing KB5094126 did
b
The issue I am seeing with KB is Microphone redirect not working.
m
@Daniel Madsen did you find anything?
d
No, not yet. I'll try something later today, and see if it helps. I'll let you know
t
@Matt Nation How did you manage to uninstall the KB? I'm getting errors telling me it is not possible when tying with powershell and RemoveUpdate.
d
I only managed to do an image, w/o the KB, but didnt get around testing it. I'll keep you posted
m
@Tommy Tee i just did it through Windows Update

Does the volume reset or does it say no audio device found? I have a customer having issues and we're not sure if it's related to this patch. Their audio works through rdp.
They get no audio device found but the HDX audio device shows up in VDI. It just can't enumerate the endpoint devices
The volume control is greyed out
