Anyone know if Citrix is working on the duplicate SID security issue, that came with the Oct 2025 windows updates, for PVS and MCS? i know there is a reg workaround, but that might be going away in 2027.

What issue? We use MCS a lot and I don't know this issue.

Microsoft in a security kb now disallows machines with the same machine sid from talking to rach other for protocols like rdp. So we need to modify mcs and pvs to run sysprep and create and store unique machine sids.

Ist there a CTX article for this issue? Also, what is the workaround? In which CVAD is a fix for MCS expected? 2507 CU2?

You can back out the kb for now. No eta on the fix. Its not easy

Fix is Server 2019/2022 🙂

Or server 2012 r2 😋
