Did you guys notice the new surprise from Citrix regarding LAS zones? US and EU? We planned all the LAS work in march and were happy to be finished by end of march for all our license servers (9 of them). What a joke on monday when I noticed there are zones now and we have again to migrate.... I desperately tried to migrate one of the license servers to EU zone but it still doesn't appear as active. They said it would take 24h but I'm beyond this timing and still nothing.

Yes, i can confirm that. Got same issue with one customer. However, with another customer i fixed that by reregistering the license server, but i dont know whats going wrong there...

I re-registered from license server, re-added on the cloud portal, but it still appears as inactive. In ddc I see it active though... I'll give it another day and then I'll call support.

You need to some configurations on the license servers, before re-registering https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/licensing/current-release/license-activation-service#citrix-cloud-eu-specific-configuration-changes

Did you configure the access to https://api-eu.cloud.com ? That is especially needed for EU LAS. There is a community thread, that addresses this topic: https://community.citrix.com/forums/topic/258904-migrate-license-servers-pointing-to-the-us-region-to-the-eu-region/

I did the xml part, restarted services etc... I'll check the community topic thx

That's clearly a joke, I had also the issue but realized a while back, moving from US to EU was smooth enough (delete and then recreate) but the Cloud US tenant deletion was laborious.

It is a grave sign of disrespect to move the goalposts after a man has already finished his work. Citrix should realize that testing the patience of their most loyal clients is a very dangerous game to play..

I had a call with Citrix support, it seems they have a technical bug so I can't migrate my license servers to EU zone, they appear as inactive in the cloud portal 🙂 I have the feeling they forced everyone to move to LAS and now to EU without having a proper working solution... constantly in developpment.
