Hi guys, I've been in contact with Citrix support for 4 weeks regarding LAS activation and we still don't have a solution. I guess the Citrix support has to check in the backend if the server is somewhere registered, but I got no feedback from the support when I addressed this and sent the currentlsid of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\Licensing\LS\resource\lasdata\las_status" (AFAIK the currentlsid is the uniqe ID in the Cloud?) Have any of you had a similar problem where you can't register the server because it's supposedly already registered, but can't find anything in the cloud? If so, could I perhaps get the ticket number from you to point the Citrix support to it?

have a look in Idenity & access mgmt > API Access > Product registrations

Interested in this, I had the same issue with a client. Host crash, brought the server back online and it lost registration. I removed it entirely from Citrix Cloud (Licensing and API access) and get the same error trying to add it back. Ended up building a new license server, but it sure would be nice to have some more visibility into this system instead of support having to check the backend servers.

I was today in another call with Citrix Support for 1 hour. We found in this log "C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\Licensing\WebServicesForLicensing\Logs\log_activator.log" this error:
{"Error":{"Message":"Repeated entry found. Change the instance ID","Type":"INSTANCEID_NOT_UNIQUE"}}
The Instance ID is refering to the "#CITRIX LSINFO" ID found in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\Licensing\MyFiles\CITRIX.opt" I reinstalled the License Server some days ago without any luck, but now I reinstalled it again with the Citrix Support, we deleted every folder and registry key before installing it again and now it works 🫠 Citrix Support did not find anything regarding this Instance ID (or anything else) in the backend The License Server was never connected before to the cloud.
@Chad King ah I forgot, you may can test this parameter - is not officially documented but I got this from Citrix support • Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\Licensing\WebServicesForLicensing • Open simplelicenseserviceconfig.xml • Add the following under the configuration section:
<CloudCreateNewKeyOnRegister>true</CloudCreateNewKeyOnRegister>
• Restart the Citrix Web Services for Licensing service
