Citrix LAS Question-- what happens to environments that have not been upgraded by April 15th? Do they stop working? Or are they just unsupported until migrated to LAS?

They stop working two weeks later. But i wouldnt wait.

Awesome thank you. We've been unable to get a direct answer from Citrix Support and have some extenuating circumstances making this a challenge for several customer environments. Trying to get some assistance and an extension.

so say you are stuck on a 1912 CVAD environment, or a 2203 environment that doesn't support LAS....and your current site has a license that is good for another year. I understand there are other issues with this, but purely LAS focused, would the environment still work until the current license file expires?

How will Citrix „disable“ valid permanent license files installed on a license server? I think the communication from Citrix is pretty aggressive here. If You’ve allocated and downloaded the license files Sept 2025 or later you will get license files with CSS date 15th of April 2026 and expiration date 29th or 30th of April 2026. So I assume, if You Are on a recent version, starting 15th of April, the users Are getting a „Your corporate Citrix environment is currently unsupported.“ popup each login, which they can make it go away hitting „Ok“ and then work normally… So you should be good with permanent lics if you dont want to upgrade your env!?

As Markus said, how will this technically work to stop the mechanism, any details here @Rob Zylowski ?
