Is the VDA battery indicator still broken for ever...

Is the VDA battery indicator still broken for everyone else? Running CVAD 2507 CU1 and the battery status redirection is frankly disappointing. Three issues we’re hitting: 1. No percentage visible — the icon shows charge level visually but there’s no % displayed anywhere without hovering. On native Windows the % sits right next to the clock. Here it doesn’t, because wfshell injects a third-party-style tray icon rather than hooking into the Windows power subsystem. 2. Icon buried in overflow — Windows 11 aggressively hides unknown tray icons into the ^ overflow area. Users never see it unless they know to click the arrow. In non-persistent VDI it resets every session. 3. Stale values — updates are event-driven over MRVC, not polled. Drop a packet, freeze the last known state. Users have no idea their battery is at 5%. This architecture hasn’t changed since VDA 7.18. Are others working around this, or just push Citrix for improvement.

Have you created a support case for the issue where the value is not updated?

The issue isn't about the value itself, but the fact that the icon does not update correctly, unlike in Windows 11. It is essential that the icon is placed directly next to the system clock, with the battery percentage clearly visible at all times without needing to click or expand the system tray. Currently, the icon is hidden, which renders the entire solution impractical. Our goal is to ensure the best possible user experience.
