Not sure you can, as 2012 is not supported infrastructure: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/2203-ltsr/system-requirements You might get stopped by the installer.

Yeah that's what I'm concerned about. I guess only one way to find out if no one else has tried it.. I know it wouldn't be supported just wanted a stop gap while we're doing the Cloud deployment.
s
It won't work at all. There's an embedded test before even starting the setup. Like a requirement check. It will say the OS is not supported and will prevent from starting the upgrade.
c
Ok, that's what I figured.. I guess next best option then is going to be swinging those VDA's into Citrix Cloud. Thanks!

1912 wouldn't be affected by LAS
c
It would be nice if Citrix would publish something to that affect. I now have customers I haven't talked to in years coming out of the wood work. Latest is on 7.15, I have to assume they won't be affected but it's hard to make those promises with no real confirmation from Citrix.
r
Correct 7.15 also doesn't know about LAS but if you can get them to upgrade i would
c
Thanks Rob! Yeah, that is definitely the plan. I just don't think it will happen by 4/15.

You can upgrade the infrastructure and let the vda on the worker on 1912
So you can migrate to las without touching the worker to much. But look at the compatibility level of the machine catalog
And it depends not just not only on the farm version. It depends on the license server version.
So your license server can kill also your old farm I would say
