Anyone notice any HA failover issues with the new 13.1.x firmware during the upgrade? Doing the first failover didn't work when the secondary was upgraded. The 2nd failover worked when both were at the newer firmware.

I forced failover by CLI and it failed over, but active gateway sessions didn't automatically reconnect/move over to the other.

same issue, SR didn't work at all and hard re-logon needed for session reconnect.

Happened to us on 14.1, too, failed back to old instance, rebooted newest just in case as we tried to figure it out, failed over.. worked. No clue. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Yeah we seemed to have an issue where one set acted like that and another set did failover but we saw quite a few session disconnects (14)

Usually when the 2 NS are not running the same version, more sessions are lost, not as smooth as when running both on the same version. Always been like this.

i thought this was more common when upgrading versions that weren't very close together, or from 13.1.x to 14.1.x....i usually don't see this when upgrading from 1 or 2 versions back from the same 13.1.x firmware though.

Yes there is also a factor of the CWA used. CWA Linux is worse than Window so there are a couple of variables in play but one for sure is the version mismatch.

Yup had same issue I noticed that session reliability on HA failover was unticked. I swear I had that enabled previously

There is also an Interna HA version depending on the build? If it’s newer some features like connection mirroring does not work. Seems Citrix did not update the article since a ling time... Had a customer report the same behavior last week as part of latest CVE patching. Citrix QA at it's finest Hey, at least the CDN didn't crash when we all tried to DL the latest binaries , right? 😉
