we are currently on 2402 cu2 and looking to ether go to cu3 or if we should jump on 2507 ltsr now that cu1 was released. that cu1 for 2507 is crazy new so probably not a lot of feedback on it yet but curious everyones thoughts on what the smartest option might be

IMO, I'd start testing 2507 CU1 with the plan to move to that, if you're able to. That's what we're doing.

so the thing is we're on cu2 for 2402 right and from what i heard we cant move to the cloud licensing stuff unless we're cu3 or higher of 2402 so we have to do something very soon ya know?

Just want to add that if you have Windows 2016 servers (I hope you don't) 2507 is going to be an issue. I think there may also be a SQL server requirement that we are also in the process of mitigating here. I agree if you meet the requirements though, 2507 CU1 would be the direction I would head as well. You are also correct that CU3 is required for the new license model, so have to get that moving as well. I built a new license server for the process because upgrading to the CU3 version broke the file based licenses in my environment and made the cutover process pretty clean, but it wasn't supposed to be that way, so YMMV.

thanks for the insight! our controller servers are 2022 so good there. leaning towards the 2507 route too....i wasnt until i saw CU1 was out so made me more inclined to consider it

I am in the same boat and going CU3 but we are also building a new site on 2507 CU1 running on W25.
