Has anyone moved to Chrome Enterprise Premium and its integration into Secure Private Access?
s
Yes we did

How was the licensing/entitlement process Steve? We got to the part where we sign up for the Google account, then we were supposed to reach out to our ATS, and then stalled.
s
It was straightforward. We have an amazing ATS, we shared our GCP Org ID and she managed to assign the licenses to us.

it took a day to do that, but we already had a GCP account.

we are in the process of it right now but ran into a roadblock where the apps are not being enumerated.

We are in process as well. Setup was straightforward. We used to be a google workspace customer so much of the work was already done. We have run into an issue with external web apps going through the google connectors. Citrix engineering is involved. Chrome enterprise premium looks to be a powerful solution but it increases the learning curve a bit. We were doing a POV with the original product that involved the embedded browser.

We are in prod since last week, in preview for 6 weeks, using both Google and Citrix Connectors. We have a few issues but they lie on the end users side, not SPA/Chrome per se. It worked as expected since day one. And yes, learning curve with Chrome is high, but the tool is so powerful. It opened a lot of use cases internally. And architecture simplicity is its strength in comparison with other solutions.

We are about to make the jump soon as well. We had a few delays but more had to do with lining resources for all sides with people taking PTO..Had the first talk with google team and they make it sound pretty straight forward.
