Looking for Enterprise MSIX Packaging Tool Recommendations Hi everyone — our organization is transitioning to MSIX and App Attach, and we’re evaluating enterprise-grade MSIX packaging tools. I’m looking for recommendations from folks who have used these solutions in real production environments. Our key priorities are: 1. Functionality (full MSIX capabilities, legacy conversion, editing/troubleshooting) 2. Ease of use (intuitive workflow for packaging teams) 3. Backward compatibility (handles older apps reliably across modern Windows/VDI) If you’ve used any MSIX packaging tools at scale, which ones worked well for you? Any strengths, weaknesses, or gotchas we should know about—especially for corporate deployments or AVD/App Attach? Appreciate any insights or lessons learned from the community. Thanks in advance!

Not to be a pain but I find MSIX very enterprise-unready. The best tool I found for conversion was AppVentix which could easily take App-V packages and convert them. For non App-V, most of the time I find myself using the MSIX Packaging Tool from Microsoft. There are a few vendors around claiming to be able to mass convert packages but I've yet to see one with an appreciable hit rate. Best advice I can give would be to not expect to be able to convert a high percentage of apps to MSIX.

FWIW, I see MSIX at scaled which works great. Some apps are easy to repackage, some aren't. If it isn't straighforward than you'll need some proper knowledge (training) to get it t work, there's a learning curve. AppV > MSIX conversion isnt' a long term solution, but could work for old apps that don't receive updates (but better to keep using AppV instead of moving to MSIX, its supported so why replace).
