Hi guys, i‘m migrating an customer from s2016 to s2025 (server vdi). I have big trouble with some different Performance issues. 1. switching from vda 2109 on server 2016 to 2411 on s2025 totally kills the igel performance. Working in explorer is much slower at igels then on windows clients 2. Cad applications are much slower than in server 2016, but we can not founf the root cause Both vdi‘s running on the same hardware. Just OS is newer, but no difference when using win11 instead of server os

afaik there was a fundamental change in VDA as it uses IDD (Indirect Display Adapter) as default from 2303 onwards. @Marco Zimmermann this is not applicable to Multi-Session. @CitrixGruzel can you clarify it a bit more? Which CWA version is IGEL on? Also, for the CAD Application case, do you have a GPU on the VDA side? You can also DM me the details. If you have videos of the issues, that would be very helpful as well.

When i‘m deploying the same image to older hardware with rtx8000 gpu the vm is running much smoother

@CitrixGruzel can you share your Citrix policies? Also, is the GPU correctly licensed?

The fastest set of policy is no policys…. All other tries cause lower perf

Different things. Have to use older nvidia driver, older firmware on the server and jpeg on igel after that all is running fast as hell. User celebrate me like an rockstar
