Has anyone ever had any luck with troubleshooting high CPU for WMI? this time it appears the print spooler is hammering WMI. If i kill the spooler, WMI goes quiet. I've removed all non-microsoft drivers installed locally and no luck. even uninstalled 2402 + CU1 which removed citrix stuff and it's still occurring.

Some sort of AV issue possibly? Definitely have had issues with our AV screwing around that manifested via Spooler, but I don't recall if WMI was also burning CPU in those instances.
I believe in the most recent example, it was traced back to a Ricoh driver and the AV service itself was showing high CPU % consumption, and in our case removing the driver was the "fix", which removing all non-MS drivers would've also probably worked. Granted, I'm quick to blame AV these days because it's been such a shitshow in our env.

@Matt Nation Which print driver? HP UPDs "self-extract" at runtime vs Xerox GPDs, don't; casuses it's own sets of problems with Citrix+Microsoft PrintNightmare
