Anyone have tips to help troubleshoot published applications randomly freezing with Citrix Cloud as the control plane? We're not seeing anything in the server side logs (disconnects, session reliability, etc.) The applications just randomly freeze and if the user kills Citrix Workspace and reconnects it starts responding again. We are using EDT but haven't see any issues at all with published desktops. These machines do have Intel graphics cards, and I found this https://www.reddit.com/r/Citrix/comments/1feclxk/citrix_freezing_since_last_week/ but we have hardware acceleration off already.

A colleague told me that SentinelOne blocked wfica network traffic - random ofc 😃 After applying the exclusions for the CWA on the Endpoints everything went normal

Intel Driver could be the root issue too

Thanks! I’m testing from a non-corporate machine to see if I can rule out security and graphics issues

It could also be HDX Adaptive Scaling. Set a policy to disable EDT to some test machines and see if that helps.

We’re running EDT and rendezvous with the cloud so that traffic isn’t always proxying through our Cloud Connectors the whole time.
Do you find it to be more stable if we do proxy connections through it?
j
I just started a new job and they have just disabled HDX Adaptive Scaling to stabilise their connections. I don't have the full background, as this change was already in flight when I joined and they were working with Citrix Support. In my last place I worked the Intel driver on the endpoints was the contributor for this too.

I’ll check into it more thank you

@Matt Sliva Sure! Exclusions have to be done also on the endpoint: Files: •

Well, I meant specifically a possible SentinelOne KB article. My environment experiences random remote disconnects and I'm looking straight at S1 on the Cloud Connectors.
n
So quick update on this, really weird, the mouse stops responding to input the session is not actually frozen, and the keyboard still works too
b
@Matt Sliva IMO, the issue lies on the client side. What about removing S1 and temporarily switching to Defender on some clients? S1 restricts their KBs and documentation—it’s a total black box. Honestly, glad we didn’t onboard them as a partner.
